Prayer in Crisis
![]()
We are living in difficult times. Life is now about managing crisis. No doubt, the economic downturn in our world has made life tougher for many. But the question is: how do we not only survive, but thrive in these times? Jonah was a prophet of God who knew all about crisis. He disobeyed God's direct command to him and found himself in a crisis of his life. He humbly turned to God in his distress. God wants His people to learn and apply principles of prayer from Jonah's prayer in crisis. The present article: "Prayer in Crisis," is written to encourage believers to turn to God in their crisis and trust Him to respond to their cries for help. My prayer is that God will give you a fresh testimony of His deliverance and care as you apply these principles in your prayer life!

To be called into ministry is a privilege. But it also requires a lifetime of learning. There is no way we can learn all that God has revealed in the Bible just by attending a seminar or conference. Even a three year seminary education is not enough to gain all the knowledge of God's teaching on ministry. Seminary or no seminary, we are in need of lifelong education. We must enroll in the School of Ministry. In this school, we will learn among other things, the three major areas of ministry, namely, the Person of God Himself, the people of God and the people of the world. The power of ministry, the privilege of ministry, the purpose of ministry, the passion of ministry and the pleasure of ministry will also be our subject of learning. It is our prayer that God will encourage you in your study in the School of Ministry to become all that He wants you to be as you serve Him with purpose and passion. |
School of Evangelism |

Sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ is a mandate given to all believers. The Good News can be shared in a variety of ways. The Scripture does not designate a single method of presenting the Gospel. The Bible records several examples of how the Lord Jesus and His early disciples presented the Good News. It is imperative that we pore over the pages of the Bible to learn from these examples. This is exactly what the School of Evangelism is all about. This school will take us on a lifelong journey of learning about the saving message which God has given us to declare to the lost, God's view of unbelievers, the Spirit's role in sharing the Good News, etc. It is our prayer that as we commit ourselves to searching the Scriptures to enlighten ourselves and enhance our presentation of the Good News, we will become more effective in fulfilling the Great Commission. |

Conscious as we are of its vital importance, yet we let the hours pass away as a blank and can only lament in death the irremediable loss. |

What are you looking for when you read the book of Acts? Missions strategies? Principles for successful church leadership? Lessons about life in the Spirit? Resolving issues about tongues and miracles? These questions have value, but none of them are the main thrust of the book. Rather, the supremacy and importance of Christ Himself are presented. He, the One who has all authority and power, is seen building and leading His Church. He was the supreme love of the believers we meet in Acts, and He must be our first love. Let these messages on the book of Acts deepen your commitment to Christ Himself. |

Paul's Epistle to Titus is concise. It's comprehensive as well. It deals with important issues such as leadership in local churches, the appearance of God's grace in Jesus, His Second Coming, the Spirit's regeneration and renewing of believers, as well as how to deal with a divisive person in the church. The Letter stresses the importance of practical Christian living. The Sermons on Titus are in the MP3 format. Our prayer is that the Holy Spirit will use these messages to motivate you to live a purposeful and productive life in such a time as this! |
