GOD BLESS YOU.

God Specializes in Removing Obstacles!

"When  the LORD your God brings you into the land where you are entering to possess it, and clears away many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and stronger than you, and when the LORD your God delivers them before you and you defeat them, then you shall utterly destroy them" (Deuteronomy 7:1-2a).

This passage is very rich. It is loaded with encouraging spiritual lessons for the believer in Jesus Christ. The key lesson I want to focus on is this: "God removes obstacles, no matter how formidable they are, from the path of His believing people in order to accomplish His purposes for them." Because God had promised to give the "Promised Land" to Israel, He took it upon Himself to clear away all obstacles from Israel's path in order to fulfill His promise for them. God always keeps His promise to His people. It didn't matter how great and powerful the obstacles were, God easily cleared them away from Israel's way. Since God has not changed and will never change, what He did for the nation of Israel thousands of years ago, He is willing and ready to do for us who believe in His Son Jesus Christ.

Perhaps your obstacle is your finances, or broken relationships, or joblessness, or bitterness, or the threat of foreclosure, or cancer, or whatever else is standing in your way of becoming what God intends for you to become! Will you choose today to look to God and lean on Him to clear away the obstacles, no matter how formidable they are, from your path in His own way and time? Then you will have a testimony to declare to all. Remember, our God specializes in removing obstacles in the paths of His believing people. There is absolutely no one like Him in this category. You can fully count on God to display His grace and mercy in clearing the obstacles in your circumstance even as He did for the children of Israel.
